'Irresistable to butterflies and lacewings'
MAny species of insects are sadly declining in numbers, due to a number of factors including the removal of hedgrows and our obsession with keeping our gardens tidy and clean. Butterflies pollinate many flowers and lacewings do a fabulous job of eating up pesky ahpids, such as greenfly.
Try to encourage beneficial insects to feed, breed and over winter in your garden. Providing a butterfly home will give a year round home to butterflies and moths to hibernate and breed in.
