Buckhatch Nursery and Garden Centre (also referred to as BHN) was established in 1966 as a family owned business based near Chelmsford in the picturesque Essex countryside.
Lynda and Barrie Mortlock, owners of Ingatestone Saddlery, took on the Garden Centre in 2014. In September 2024, it was purchased by Perrywood Garden Centre.
Buckhatch Nursery and Garden Centre will continue to trade as usual until early 2025, when it will relaunch as Perrywood Buckhatch, ready for the Spring season. The new family owners and directors, Alan, Hannah, Simon, and Tristan, are delighted to have acquired this popular garden centre and very much look forward to adding some well-known Perrywood magic.
